Modern slavery can occur in any community — including within health and social care. Care staff may encounter individuals who are victims of exploitation, forced labour, domestic servitude or human trafficking, often without obvious signs. Our Modern Slavery in Health and Social Care course equips staff with the knowledge, awareness and confidence to recognise indicators of modern slavery, understand their responsibilities, and take appropriate action to safeguard individuals at risk. This training supports staff to act ethically, lawfully and compassionately, helping organisations meet their safeguarding and human rights responsibilities.
